By Snigdha Som (TNI) | TNI Editing Siliguri
Webdesk, TNI Changrabandha, 7th June, 2017: After a long wait the Changrabandha Unnoyon Parishad (Changrabandha Development Board) is being announced by the Honorable Chief Minister of West Bengal Smt. Mamta Banerjee. Soon after the declaration, there are flows of joy throughout the residents of this famous Indo-Bangla border town. It is expected that the Development Board will be working for the overall development of the area especially in the terms of amenities that were missing for such an important town of the border area for so long.
At least 3 countries are being benefitted by this town i.e. India, Bhutan and Bangladesh. However, the amenities are almost missing in this area like drinking water, guest houses, waiting rooms etc. Apart from the travelers daily huge goods traffic are being exchanged at this point. The locals are hugely satisfied by the announcement.
